If the princess and the pea was written today.. the princess would look just like this little girl.. she is always a pleasure. We went to a new location and I loved it..I hope to take Olivia there soon to do her pictures there. "L" is my favorite little girl to spend time photographing her as she grows up.. just not too soon or too fast.. If we could just keep them little... Here is the link to her photos:
I can't believe how grown up she looks.. it brings a tear to my eye.. I have been blessed to get to photograph this little one each year.. and I can not tell you how happy that makes me or how much I look forward to seeing her and her sweet, sweet family each year.. she is absolutely a princess to photograph.. and she tries so hard to follow my direction.. I can tell you that is rare!!! Not that I don't love a challenge.. but when a sweet little princess like this comes along.. it is like a ray of sunshine and a rainbow all wrapped into one..

I really wish this was a picture of a baby crying.. because that is what I feel like doing.. Our household has been sick and to tell you the truth... I am sick of being sick.. I catch everything Olivia brings home from school!!! I have been coughing my head off for two weeks.. I am sure I need more rest than I am getting.. but there is so much to be done.. I have and I just counted.. 14 (FOURTEEN) sessions to edit and get posted in the next two days.. Not sure how I am going to pull that one off.... I have two sessions this weekend.. Thank goodness, they are my last for the year!!!! Why do I torture myself every year... Why can't I say no... I always vow that next year will be different.. I promise that next year really will be.. I know without a doubt.. I am so busy that I have neglected to get Olivia's Elf out.. because I do not have time to do all the mischeif that those little guys stir up... I am only writing this while I am waiting on a slide show to load to the internet.. and to also let those that are waiting on pictures to know that I am trying to get them done ASAP!!!!! I promise... soon.. soon.. I will be done and all of you will have your pictures.. I will soon post info about the last day to order.. last year.. I was delivering pictures on Christmas Eve.. NOT THIS YEAR, NOT AGAIN... Last year I was wrapping presents at 3am on Christmas Day... I will post the dead-lines soon and for those of you who will not have very long before your order is due.. I am so sorry.. but it is get it in quick or it will be too late!!!!! CDs with the Christmas card images will be ready soon too.. for those who have already ordered them.. Okay... back to work.. atleast for a few more hours..
These two were absolutely adorable!!! I can not say enough... which I don't think I have to say much.. these pictures speak for themselves!!
It just tickles me pink, when I get a little girl who actually just enjoys having her pictures done.. as most of you know.. my own little girl is almost absolutely impossible for me to take pictures of.. it is actually pretty bad.. I get a knot in my stomach when I am going to do pictures because it never, ever goes the way I want it too.. sound familar.. to those parents out there.. trust me.. I know all too well the stress of picture day.. so this session with this little girl was a breath of fresh air.. I enjoyed every minute!!!
Okay last one.. but I could post atleast 4o more that I really, really loved..this one is one of my many favorites..
Here I am up at 2:53am.. working on pics.. it is that time of year again.. I wanted to up date my blog because it has been forver!!! I ran across one of my only pics of my little girl that I managed to take this fall so far.. she is holding Bently.. he is a wonderful, patient, sweet, loving cat.. we are so lucky to have him.. as for the little girl in the fairy dress, pouting because it is getting colder outside.. well I am pretty lucky to have her in my life too.. I spend my days taking pictures and my nights editing them and everything else that goes along with it.. tonight we played Barbies.. out of guilt, I brought home the Rapunzel doll that she has been begging for every time we go any where near one.. so for thirty minutes.. we played like two best friends..I miss those things the most..
How precious is this?? This little girl is just beautiful.. I can't wait to see how she changes..
This is what sleeping just like a baby looks like close up.. Love it... sessions like this one remind me of how fast they grow up.. before you know it she will think that she is grown.
Love her little rhinestone paci.. so girly.. I wish I had found one of these when Olivia was this little.. they make the cutest stuff for girls..
Lucky me!!! This is the second time I have photographed this little beauty.. she was just as precious this time as she was the first time..
Spending time with this precious little girl and her Mom and Granda.. makes me LoVe my job even more.. not to mention that "L" is truly a little princess.. just easy peasy to photograph.. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!!! I am so excited to be photographing this beautiful couples wedding.
Just look at them.. and her.. what a beauty!! I love spending time with young people in LoVe!! It reminds me of how lucky I am to still be in LoVe.. after all this time.. This couple are not only both red heads but they have the same middle name... this is that thing we call destiny! Awwwwww
I wish there was a way to make a child understand how much they are loved... I mean , when you have a child, it means that all of your needs come after hers. It means that you would jump in front of a moving vehicle to save them. It means that you would stop a speeding bullet with your own heart to save their life. It means that a little bit of sillyness and suddenly you feel like a kid again. It means that you believe in fairy tales and Santa Claus. It means that sleep comes after everything is done and that she is ready for school the next day.. It means every morning you drive her to school looking like crap because you spent the last 45 minutes coming through her hair as easy as possible so that she does not feel one of the many snaggle nest that magically appear in her hair over night.. It also means that in someone's eyes you are a super hero, a best friend, and your kisses are magic (they heal boo boos instantly) and in your arms is the best place to be when she is scared or sick. One saying that I love that sums it all up is this: Having a child is the decision to go around for the rest of your life with your heart walking around on the outside of your body.... Happy Valentine's Day..... may your life be filled with love.....
